Privacy Policy

The short version: Trident Tracker does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

Information we don't collect

The app has no sign-in and no user profiles. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or any personally identifying information, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Baseball data

Scores, standings, rosters and schedules are retrieved from the public MLB Stats API. These are ordinary, read-only requests for public game data — no personal information about you is sent.

Live Activities

If you start a Live Activity (the live score on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island), the app sends an anonymous Apple-issued push token to our server so that real-time score updates can be delivered to that activity. This token:

• is generated by Apple and is not linked to your identity;
• is used only to deliver Live Activity updates for the current game;
• is automatically removed when the activity ends or expires.

Updates are delivered through the Apple Push Notification service. We do not associate the token with any personal data.

Notifications

If you enable game-start alerts, those reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No information leaves your device to provide them.

Service providers

Our push-delivery backend runs on Vercel, with push tokens stored transiently in Upstash (a hosted key-value store) only for the duration of a game. Push notifications are delivered via Apple. None of these providers receive personal information about you from this app.

Children

Trident Tracker is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the date above.
